E.ON investiert 4 Millionen Euro in den Neubau seiner 1.800 Quadratmeter großen Halle auf Helgoland. Das Gebäude bietet Platz für bis zu 50 Mitarbeiter, die künftig von hier aus den Betrieb des Windparks Amrumbank West per Schiff und Helikopter sicherstellen werden. Rund 600 qm Bürofläche dienen der Steuerung und Regelung des Windparks. Darüber hinaus beherbergt das Gebäude alle notwendigen Einrichtungen für die Instandhaltung des Windparks, wie beispielsweise Umkleideräume für das Offshore-Servicepersonal, Lagerflächen für Ersatzmaterialien, Werkstätten und eine Kantine. Das Grundstück ist insgesamt ca. 3.300 qm groß.

Voraussichtlicher Zeitpunkt für die Fertigstellung und die Einweihung ist geplant für den August 2014.

In der Nordsee vor Helgoland entstehen drei große Offshore-Windparks: "Nordsee-Ost"  (RWE Innogy), "Meerwind" (WindMW) und "Amrumbank West" (E.ON). Während die Offshore-Windparks "RWE-Nordsee-Ost" und "Wind MW-Meerwind" mittlerweile im Bau sind, ist im Gebiet von Eon, 35 Kilometer westlich von Amrum mit vorbereitenden Arbeiten begonnen worden. 
Damit den Arbeitern auf hoher See bei Unfällen schnelle Hilfe zu garantiert, ist jetzt auf Helgoland ein Rettungshubschrauber mit Spezialausrüstung der Firma Northern HeliCopter GmbH temporär auf der Düne stationiert.
Von Helgoland aus ist der Helicopter mit einer Reisegeschwindigkeit von circa 260 km/h innerhalb von neun Minuten vor Ort – anstatt in 30 bis 35 Minuten von Land aus.

Nachdem die Ausbauphase am Südhafen der Insel beendet ist, wird neben dem jetzigen Bundeswehrhubschrauberlandeplatz ein Hangar für den Rettungsflieger errichtet.

Off-Shore-Strom – Was der Meerwind wirklich mehr bringt

Im Auftrag der Verbände BWE und VDMA Power Systems hat die Deutsche WindGuard GmbH die aktuellen Daten zum Status des Ausbaus der Offshore-Windenergie in Deutschland für das Jahr 2013 erhoben.

 Im Gesamtjahr 2013 wurden demnach 48 Offshore-Windenergieanlagen mit einer Gesamtleistung von 240 MW ans Netz angeschlossen. Davon wurden 41 Stück auch im vergangenen Jahr errichtet. Insgesamt speisten damit zum Jahresende 116 Offshore-Windenergieanlagen in Nord- und Ostsee mit einer Gesamtleistung von 520,3 MW Strom ins Netz ein. 103 weitere Anlagen mit einer Leistung von 394,6 MW waren bereits errichtet, aber warten derzeit noch auf den Netzanschluss. Weitere 282 Teilanlagen und Fundamente waren zum Jahreswechsel errichtet.

 Damit befanden sich zum 31.12.2013 acht Offshore-Windparks im Bau, ein weiterer war vollständig errichtet, wartete aber noch auf den Netzanschluss. Die Gesamtleistung der Windparks, die sich Ende 2013 noch im Bau befanden, bzw. nicht ans Netz angeschlossen waren, betrug 2.432,4 MW.

 Die durchschnittlich im Jahr 2013 errichtete Offshore-Windenergieanlage hatte Leistung von 5MW bei einer Nabenhöhe von 90m und einem Rotordurchmesser von 126m.

40 Prozent weniger CO² Ausstoß im Vergleich zu 1990, aber weniger Förderung für erneuerbare Energien, hier halten die EU-Minister 27 Prozent für ausreichent. Beim Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien soll es keine Vorgaben auf nationaler Ebene geben, die Vorgabe gelte für die EU als Ganzes. Die deutsche Regierung hatte sich andere Ziele beim Öko-Stromausbau vorgestellt. Einen Vorschlag zur Energieeffizienz will die Brüsseler Behörde erst im Laufe des Jahres vorlegen.

Vor sieben Jahren noch hatte sich die EU für das Stichjahr 2020  noch drei verschiedene bindende Ziele gesetzt:

• ein Anstieg des Anteils erneuerbarer Energien auf 20 Prozent
• bis zum Ende dieses Jahrzehnts 20 Prozent weniger Kohlendioxid auszustoßen
• ein um 20 Prozent effizienterer Energieverbrauch

CO² Zertifikate bremsen die Energiewende aus!

Zu viele Zertifikate mit CO² Verschmutzungsrechten sind auf dem Markt und so liegt der Preis für 1 Tonne CO² nur bei 5,- Euro. Da ist der Anreiz für Unternehmen sehr gering um in erneuerbare Energien zu investieren. Die EU möchte diesen Handel allerdings erst im Jahr 2021 reformieren.  Deutschlands neue Bundesumweltministerin Barbara Hendricks (SPD) drängte darauf, dass diese Reform früher als 2012 kommen müsse.

Die vorbereitenden Maßnahmen für den Kabeleinzug in die Umspannstation von Meerwind Süd | Ost sind abgeschlossen worden. Nun wird auf ein günstiges Wetterfenster für den Kabeleinzug gewartet. Meerwind Süd | Ost und der RWE Windpark Nordsee Ost werden beide an die Station Helwin1 angeschlossen. Die Tennet verlegt insgesamt 465 Kilometer Kabel um die drei Offshore-Windparks im Helgolandcluster an die Station in Büttel anzuschließen. Dort wird der Strom dann in das Netz eingespeist.

Das Fundament (DT-22) im Windpark Dantysk ist jetzt der nördlichste Punkt Deutschlands auf dem man stehen kann ohne nasse Füße zu bekommen. Die Koordinaten lauten: 55°14`04.43 N und 7°10`13.68 E. 70 Quadratkilometer umfasst der Windpark DanTysk und verfügt später über eine Leistung von 288 Megawatt. Dantysk ist ein Projekt von Vattenfall und den Stadtwerken München, die Inbetriebnahme ist für den Herbst 2014 geplannt.

Sigmar Gabriel (SPD) ist neuer Wirtschaftsminister (Ministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie) und wird in Zukunft für die regenerativen Energien zuständig sein. Im Koalitionsvertrag haben die Parteien CDU/CSU und SPD bereits festgelegt, dass das Erneuerbare-Energie-Gesetz überarbeitet werden soll. Ein erster Entwurf soll zu Ostern 2014 vorliegen.
