Gestern wurden die ersten drei Maschinenhäuser für den Offshore-Windpark Nordsee Ost am Basishafen in Bremerhaven angeliefert. Ein eigen dafür errichteter Kran mit insgesamt 750 Tonnen Hubkraft hat die Gondeln zunächst im Labradorhafen abgeladen. Dann wurden die Maschinenhäuser auf die von RWE Innogy angemieteten Flächen des Eurogate Container Terminals gebracht. Jede Gondel hat ein Gewicht von rund 350 Tonnen und in etwa die Abmessungen eines Einfamilienhauses. Im Inneren befinden sich die Maschinenkomponenten wie Getriebe und Generator. Damit bilden die Gondeln das Herzstück der Windkraftanlagen des Turbinenherstellers Senvion, die mit rund sechs Megawatt Leistung zu den derzeit größten und leistungsstärksten Windturbinen gehören.

„Alle haben Hand in Hand gearbeitet und so ist es gelungen in nur zwei Tagen die riesigen Maschinenhäuser sicher abzuladen und zu ihrem Lagerplatz zu bringen. Heute werden noch zwei Gondeln und eine Nabe abgeladen“, erklärt Marcus Dengler, Leiter Hafenlogistik Bremerhaven bei RWE Innogy. „In den kommenden Wochen werden nach und nach die verbleibenden Gondeln angeliefert. Dann haben wir nahezu alle Großkomponenten der Windkraftanlagen in Bremerhaven eingelagert und können im Frühjahr mit der Installation auf See beginnen.“

RWE Innogy nutzt seit rund zwei Jahren 400 Meter Kaje sowie Terminalflächen des Eurogate Container Terminals in Bremerhaven für den Umschlag und die Lagerung von Offshore-Windkraftkomponenten, die zum Bau des Windparks Nordsee Ost benötigt werden. Derzeit lagern dort neben den neu angelieferten Maschinenhäusern über 80 Rotorblätter, 96 Turmsegmente sowie die noch zu installierenden Fundamente mit den dazugehörigen Piles.

Im Baugebiet des Windparks sind derzeit 44 der insgesamt 48 Fundamente für die Windkraftanlagen sowie das Fundament für das Umspannwerk auf See installiert. Mit der Errichtung der Windkraftanlagen soll in diesem Frühjahr begonnen werden. Nach Fertigstellung wird das Windkraftwerk Nordsee Ost über eine installierte Leistung von rund 295 Megawatt verfügen und umgerechnet jährlich rund 300.000 Haushalte in Deutschland mit klimafreundlichem Strom versorgen. Ausgestattet mit den derzeit leistungsstärksten Turbinen gehört Nordsee Ost zu den größten kommerziellen Windkraftprojekten vor der deutschen Küste.

Die Windenergie-Nutzung in Deutschland ist im vergangenen Jahr kräftig ausgeweitet worden. So wurden 2013 nach den Zahlen der DEWI GmbH knapp 1.300 neue Windenergieanlagen mit einer elektrischen Leistung von etwa 3.590 Megawatt (MW) neu errichtet. Insgesamt laufen in Deutschland danach an Land und auf See Windturbinen mit einer Leistung von fast 34.700 MW.

 Unter den Mitarbeitern der Windenergiebranche befindet sich dabei nach wie vor ein hoher Anteil an Quereinsteigern. Die Windenergie mit ihren flexiblen Tätigkeitsfeldern erfordert fachübergreifendes Grundlagenwissen und ein Verständnis über das Zusammenspiel von Wirtschaftlichkeit, Wind und Technik. Was für erfahrene Techniker selbstverständlich sein mag, ist für Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter ohne technischen Hintergrund oft schwer nachzuvollziehen.

 Das Haus der Technik und die ForWind-Academy veranstalten am 25. und 26. März 2014 das Fachseminar „Windenergie für Nicht-Techniker – Wirtschaftlichkeit, Wind, Technik“ in Bremen. Von den Komponenten einer Windenergieanlage über die Funktionsweise eines Windparks und dessen Wirtschaftlichkeit bis hin zum Netzanschluss stellen die Referenten die zentralen Aspekte der Windenergienutzung vor.

Zunächst wird den Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern ein allgemeiner Überblick über den Themenkomplex geboten, bei dem physikalische Grundlagen der Windenergie, technische Aspekte wie Belastung und Lebensdauer sowie wirtschaftliche Aspekte aufgezeigt und erläutert werden. Je nach Bedarf werden die einzelnen Themen anschließend in Frage- und Diskussionsrunden vertieft. Alle Themenbereiche werden mit Fallbeispielen aus der Praxis veranschaulicht. Ziel des Seminars ist es, einen umfassenden Einblick in die einzelnen Bereiche zu geben, die am Zusammenspiel der Stromerzeugung aus Windenergie beteiligt sind.

Das Fachseminar richtet sich an Projektierer, Mitarbeiter aus dem Bereich Finanzwesen, Juristen, Berater, Investoren, Mitarbeiter von Herstellern und Kommunen, Energieversorgern und Stadtwerken, Branchenneulinge und Quereinsteiger.

45 Kilometer vor Borkum sind zum Ende Februar bereits 20 Offshore-Turbinen des Typs M5000 von Areva gestellt. Im September 2013 wurde mit der Errichtung begonnen. Der Trianel Offshore Windpark soll noch in diesem Jahr seine erste Megawattstunde Windstrom erzeugen. Nach Angaben von Areva werden zum Jahresende 2014 insgesamt 120 Offshore Windkraftanlagen gestellt sein, trotzdem meldet Areva nur ein paar Tage später Kurzarbeit ab dem 1.April für den Standort Bremerhaven. Trotz einer fehlenden Auslastung in der Fertigung soll aber auf Kündigungen verzichtet werden.

Die Seacat Volunteer, ein 24m South Catamaran wurde erst Anfang Januar bei der South Boats IOW Schiffswerft in Cowes (Südengland) zu Wasser gelassen. Die Seacat Volunteer ist das sechste Schiff dieser Baureihe von "Wind farm crew transfer vessels" des Betreibers Seacat Services. Nach diversen Testfahrten in Großbritanien startete die Volunteer am Mittwoch um 9.00 in Cowes und erreichte am Donnerstagmorgen den Helgoländer Hafen. Hier wird das Schiff die Techniker der Firma WindMW zum Offshore Windpark Meerwind Süd |Ost bringen. Damit fahren neben der Seacat Resolute, Seacat Vigilant und jetzt Seacat Volunteer drei der sechs 24m Schiffe für WindMW.

Auf dem Aluminiumrumpf-Katamaran, der durch Doppel Rolls Royce Wasserstrahlen angetrieben wird finden 12 Windpark-Techniker und 3 Crewmitglieder Platz. Voll mit Personal und 20 Tonnen Material beladen kann der Katamaran noch Geschwindigkeiten von über 29 Knoten erreichen. Weitere Technische Daten hier als PDF:

Es gibt neben den sechs 24m Schiffen noch zwei 21m und zwei 26m Wind farm crew vessels in der Flotte der Seacat Services.

South-Boat-Werft und Seacat services haben bereits im September 2013 einen weiteren Vertrag über ein 24-Meter-und zwei 26-Meter-Schiffe für die nächsten zwei Jahre abgeschlossen.

E.ON investiert 4 Millionen Euro in den Neubau seiner 1.800 Quadratmeter großen Halle auf Helgoland. Das Gebäude bietet Platz für bis zu 50 Mitarbeiter, die künftig von hier aus den Betrieb des Windparks Amrumbank West per Schiff und Helikopter sicherstellen werden. Rund 600 qm Bürofläche dienen der Steuerung und Regelung des Windparks. Darüber hinaus beherbergt das Gebäude alle notwendigen Einrichtungen für die Instandhaltung des Windparks, wie beispielsweise Umkleideräume für das Offshore-Servicepersonal, Lagerflächen für Ersatzmaterialien, Werkstätten und eine Kantine. Das Grundstück ist insgesamt ca. 3.300 qm groß.

Voraussichtlicher Zeitpunkt für die Fertigstellung und die Einweihung ist geplant für den August 2014.

In der Nordsee vor Helgoland entstehen drei große Offshore-Windparks: "Nordsee-Ost"  (RWE Innogy), "Meerwind" (WindMW) und "Amrumbank West" (E.ON). Während die Offshore-Windparks "RWE-Nordsee-Ost" und "Wind MW-Meerwind" mittlerweile im Bau sind, ist im Gebiet von Eon, 35 Kilometer westlich von Amrum mit vorbereitenden Arbeiten begonnen worden. 
Damit den Arbeitern auf hoher See bei Unfällen schnelle Hilfe zu garantiert, ist jetzt auf Helgoland ein Rettungshubschrauber mit Spezialausrüstung der Firma Northern HeliCopter GmbH temporär auf der Düne stationiert.
Von Helgoland aus ist der Helicopter mit einer Reisegeschwindigkeit von circa 260 km/h innerhalb von neun Minuten vor Ort – anstatt in 30 bis 35 Minuten von Land aus.

Nachdem die Ausbauphase am Südhafen der Insel beendet ist, wird neben dem jetzigen Bundeswehrhubschrauberlandeplatz ein Hangar für den Rettungsflieger errichtet.
